Hi Glen,

You can't configure the STSClient directly to send a Basic Auth
username/password. Why not just use spring as per any web service
client? e.g:

<http:conduit name="{http://sts.com/stsservice}stsport.http-conduit";;>
    <http:authorization>
     <sec:UserName>X</sec:UserName>
     <sec:Password>Y</sec:Password>
    </http:authorization>
  </http:conduit>
