Hi Glen,
as reminder, Talend ESB 5.x ships Karaf Cellar as technology preview,
including a DOSGi implementation (not based on CXF, but purely on Cellar).
As far as DOSGi based on CXF is concerned we need to get to the more
solid/mature stage but we will be experimenting with it in time and also
would be glad to see the feedback from the users, we had an issue opened
againt DOSGi 1.2 saying it did not work in Karaf which I closed as won't
fix due to a complete update of deps in the 1.3-SNAPSHOT; I'll just
reopen it to get this issue tracked at least. So there is a chance
you'll get a lot of options re DOSGi (Cellar, CXF-based) in time in TESB :-)

Hi Ramesh. Talend Service and Integration Factories have been
incorporated within Talend ESB, Standard Edition, so TSF no longer
exists as a standalone product. While TESB might have some additional
archetypes specific to TESB itself, I think at the CXF/Camel level
whatever we would have would be committed directly within CXF (or Camel)
itself. CXF has two archetypes at least for WSDL-first and Java-first
web service development (not DOSGi-specific).
TESB is a Karaf-based OSGi container pre-configured with CXF and Camel
libraries and special services for easier deployment for web services
and Camel routes and the like. AFAIK we don't have anything special for
DOSGi yet, so you might wish to work directly with CXF using the
information on its website (http://cxf.apache.org/distributed-osgi.html).
For TESB-specific questions, please use the Talend forums
(http://www.talendforge.org/forum/#idx5), as far more TESB people are on
it.

On the github.com/Talend/tsf page there is a mention of Talend Maven
Archetypes
TSF supplements this with additional Maven archetypes to support
development
in an OSGi environment.
I tried searching but couldn't find any.
Also is TSF a good fit for CXF-DOSGI ?

Ramesh
