yes. Your test program also works fine in principle. (I don't get a
connection established to your internal service, so ends up in an
error but the client creation etc is working fine). See here the
transcription using Oracle JDK 1.7.0_55 on OSX.

no. That is not where CXF issues are tracked. You have to use Jira
(see the issue tracking section of the CXF document page). I'll open
one and link to the other thread.
