I am new to Base but I find that using Base 2.1 I have no trouble
opening MDB files and saving them as Base files.
If you look at the third option connect to an existing database click on
the option box with JBDC in it, and select a Microsoft Access (at the
top) open it and save it as a .odb file.
The Tables queries and indexes are all there but all the forms and
reports and macros are gone.
Given the complexity of converting an entire application across I would
be surprised if there was method of complete conversion.
If there is a complete conversion method PLEASE LET ME KNOW, that would
be awesome.
