In short:
- click F4 (Or View|Datasources)
If you have registerd your database, it should be there.
If not: with Tools|Options| OOo Base|Databases, you can set up the
connection.
- if you have openend your table in the Datasource-window, you can drag
a header of a column to your Writer-document
now this becomes a field, linked to the data from that column
- you can also insert those fields by Insert|Fields|More|Database
Ready with one or more fields?
On to op the Datasource window, there's a toolbar.
The fouth button from right is 'Data to fields'.
- select any row in the table;
- click the button.
Now the data from that row is in your document.
