It works!

Here's what I did:
1.  Install JDK 1.8.0_71
2.  Use Apache Directory Server version 2.0.0-M21
3.  Use the latest build of Apache Directory Studio, which I downloaded from 
Jenkins
4.  Use more than 768 bit encryption in my certificate
5.  Use forward-slashes instead of back-slashes in the keystore path setting in 
Apache Directory Studio

Studio build doesn't work on Windows. But nightly builds are available on 
Jenkins, put please note that those are no official Apache releases!
