I just wanted to let someone know that I am abandoning my installation of ApacheDS for lack of ANY support.
It is a shame, things look promising. But there is no documentation about the kerberos server setup. No help available either. After struggling to get Studio authentication or command line authentication working with the ApacheDS kerberos server I gave up on kerberos in ApacheDS. I was able to get a kerberos server with integrated clients working on my systems in 15 minutes time using MIT instructions. So I thought maybe use ApacheDS for ldap and external kerberos, right? Ain't gonna happen. Nothing works from Studio and I am now sick of beating my head against a wall. Bye ApacheDS. Hello openldap
