Hi Emmanuel,

The packages are built by the Apache Jenkins server, post release. The
problem is that the version has already been bumped to
2.0.0-AM28-SNAPSHOT, so the packages are referring this version.
This has to be fixed for the next release. I will add some warning on
the web site.
So you mean there won't be a proper release tarball for 2.0.0-AM27?
They are fine, they have been produced by the release process. Actually,
when I ran the mvn release command, it tagged the release and created
the 2.0.0.AM28-SNAPSHOT version at the same time, then built the package
in the same go.
Can you please remove the bogus file (and check the other files, if
those are also 2.0.0-AM28-SNAPSHOT?
I can't. Before 2.0.0.AM27, I was able to build the package on my
machine (a Mac OSX), which is not anymore possible, due to the
deprecation of tools like rpmbuild in MacOSX.
Keep in mind that those packages are offered for convenience, and one
can still build the proper packages for their target system as described
on
https://directory.apache.org/apacheds/developer-guide.html#create-the-installers
Kind Regards,
Johannes
