Can't get over a thousand records returned

Hi, folks,

     I'm having trouble getting the browser to return more than a thousand
records. I've set the Count Limit variously to 0, 2000, and 10000 in both
my search and my connection, and yet only a thousand records return. Oddly
enough, when I set the limit to 500, the proper number of records return.

     I'm running on OS X. Version: 2.0.0.v20210717-M17.
