Hi, everyone! Just wanted to say that I just updated to the most recent kernel (I'm tracking development branch) and my wifi card started to work:
$ uname -a DragonFly hk.ha.zta.lk 4.5-DEVELOPMENT DragonFly 7fd879c-DEVELOPMENT #0: Thu May 26 22:29:50 CEST 2016 [email protected]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/X86_64_GENERIC x86_64 $ dmesg | grep ral0 ral0: <Ralink Technology RT3090> mem 0xf7c00000-0xf7c0ffff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci4 ral0: MAC/BBP RT3071 (rev 0x0213), RF RT3020 (MIMO 1T1R), address 00:24:7e:87:7f:af ral0: <Ralink Technology RT3090> mem 0xf7c00000-0xf7c0ffff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci4 ral0: MAC/BBP RT3071 (rev 0x0213), RF RT3020 (MIMO 1T1R), address 00:24:7e:87:7f:af ral0: need multicast update callback ral0: need multicast update callback ral0: need multicast update callback ral0: need multicast update callback $ dmesg | grep wlan0 wlan0: driver didn't set altq_maxlen wlan0: MAC address: 00:24:7e:87:7f:af Not sure if this "driver didn't set altq_maxlen" is OK, but otherwise everything works so far. I'm sending this message from this machine via wifi. Big thank you to everyone who made it happen! I'm using DragonFly for a while now. A few years on my personal server at hetzner.de and since recently on my home desktop machine. The desktop machine is quite new, so wifi didn't work when I installed dragonfly. I tried FreeBSD, but I had some problems with video card driver. Wifi was not that important, but I really liked being able to backup all my data from hetzner's server using hammer mirror-copy, so I chose DragonFly over FreeBSD on my desktop as well. And now wifi works too. It's great! -- Aleksej Lebedev
