(I'm still holding my breath but) it seems that commit 85bc18ad+
(drm/linux: Rework wait_event_xxx() macros) has finally fixed
long-standing bug (reported here [1]) that was causing random Xorg freezes
with compton [2] running. I've updated to master this morning, uptime of
the system is now more than 8 hours, and still no Xorg freeze. :)
