In your experience using them with DragonFly thus far, no data
corruption or issues seeing the serial number of the drive?

The best caddies come from Costco for ~ $130. USB 2/3, with two more
ports on a hub on the front, to potentially daisy chain drives. Most
importantly there's also a 8TB WD drive inside, at approximately the
lowest cost/TB available, anywhere. Sorry I'm not more help, but I have
a pile of these external caddies in my workroom, as I had other plans
for the drives.

Can anyone recommend a good external USB drive caddy?
Need one to locally backup a Thinkpad with a single drive bay, but
DFly/H1/H2 don't seem to play well with the models I have tried.
The drive shows up as /dev/serno/ABCDEF0123 and data has corrupted on a
few occasions when copying. Currently using a recent OWC Mercury Elite
Pro Mini enclosure, but who knows the quality of the components used...
Suggestions?
