I think the logo can be some simple shape so it may looks so clean.  The color of the logo may need to match as many background colors as possible so that it can be easy to publicize on printed matter. I think the logo1 that mike suggested may be a good one.

As for me, I prefer these two logos shown below:
These two images are simple and directly represent the elements of EventMesh,
logo1: M represent Mesh and it looks like a cloud which can stands for cloud native

Now that eventmesh has been donated to apache, we need to design a logo for EventMesh. Do you have any good suggestions?
I think the logo should at least reflect a few factors：
1. about event domain,
2. about cloud native, 
3. no copyright dispute
4. the form of the logo, such as graphics or plain text? 
5. meaning given by the logo

We can refer to the apache specification on logo here[1].
