Well, the current tags are robust, too :-) Honestly, I was thinking about it, but then we would restrict components to be Java 5 and higher only. And this is something, which I think is not a good idea. The plugin should also be usable for people which have a requirement (for whatever reason) to currently stick with pre-Java 5 implementations.
