Here are a couple of suggestions: 1. Try loading the second air app as a NativeProcess. This way, you can pass arguments that you can inspect in the invokeEvent of the second air app.
or 2. Try using a LocalConnection to communicate between the two AIR apps. Please let me know if you need more details.
