Hi Scott, I had the same error yesterday (Win8)...FB debugger stopped at 57%, I rebooted and it worked for a little while, but always locked up on a specific project. It was a big difficult to trace, but found that it was a bug in my code that the compiler did not pick-up (I assume).
After multiple code changes it worked and has been stable...so check your code...hope this helps....
