Thanks will take a look at that shortly. For now I decided to just go back to vanilla Flash Builder 4.7 with it's default SDK and debugger.
Reason is that: a) I don't need any functionality beyond the 4.6 SDK, and b) I want to support the 11.1 player and above. i.e: the same platform as my current 3 yr old production application, which was originally built using FB 4.6 will be fine for me.
