Hi, Unlike Flex, the Application in FlexJS is not a visual component and is not part of the display list. The top-most UI element is the initialView property of the Application.
Also, findPopUpHost takes an IUIBase so it can walk up the display list tree until finds an IPopUpHost which is most often the View.
