I found the problem: it was a PostgreSQL error: I didn't put the -i
option in postmaster command and so the server refuser TCP/IP
connections.

        Hi,
        
        you will probably discover that the scripts are looking for perl
in the
        wrong place (been there done that :-))
        
        either put a link in:
        
        ln -s /usr/bin/perl /usr/local/bin/perl
        
        or change the location of perl in all the scripts.
