Hello, The example you present is in "debug mode". Usually, in poduction, the javascript files are compressed and concatenated.. A possible way to do that is to use jsbuild. OpenLayers contains the necessary requires and include information that are used to define the dependencies. It's not the case in GeoExt, but I would be in favor to do it.
