Dear List,
please excuse me if this question turns out to be rather silly - I am
not that experienced yet with using GeoExt. Nevertheless, I managed to
display all the map layers in a tree using a
GeoExt.tree.BaseLayerContainer and a GeoExt.tree.OverlayLayerContainer.
One of these overlay layers is a vector layer, where the user can add
some features he/she wants to see on the map. And I'd like to show all
these features separately in the same map-layer-tree as all the other
layers.
So this is basically my question: is it possible to display all the
different features of one single vector layer in a tree? I imagine it to
be something similar to a OverlayLayerContainer but focussing only on
one VectorLayer.
I managed to work something out by creating a new vector layer for each
feature but this doesn't seem to be a good solution since I've read
somewhere that a vector layer needs to be activated to allow a selection
on the map. And I'd like to be able to select all the features a user
has put on his map at the same time.
Any thoughs or help on this is very much appreciated. Many thanks in
advance!
With best regards, Lukas
