I "solved" the problem by using 2 different proxy.cgi files ... One is
used for the WMSCapabilitesStore, and the other for WMSGetFeatureInfo.

If I go back to the original version of proxy.cgi, the
WMSGetFeatureInfo query succeeds, and the WMS GetCapabilities fails.

GetCapabilities query to work but prevent WMSGetFeatureInfo query from
