Hi Anders,

does your HTML-page have a meta-tag defining the encoding? E. g. <meta
http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

Cheers,
Chris

Betreff: [Users] Character encoding in WMSDescribeLayer

Hi
I use WMSDescribeLayer in GeoExt, and my response includes swedish characters
that don't get encoded correctly. The response starts with <?xml version="1.0"
encoding="UTF-8"?> , that seems correct to me because Geoserver is configured
to use UTF-8 chracter set.

Kind regards
