Thank you both for your kind and so-quick answers. :-) Other future
readers of this thread please note that:

1) On Ubuntu 10.10, debi does not get installed by default.
Right-clicking on a .deb file in Nautilus will prompt you to open it
with the Ubuntu Software center. I found it simpler and quicker to use
dpkg.

2) When you unpack the archive, you get a directory called "en-US".
Change directory to the directory "DEBS" within that directory. Then
run the command Andy recommended (but without the trailing "s" in his
post):

sudo dpkg -i *.deb

Enter your root user's password.

dpkg does all the installation work.

Then change directory to the "desktop-integration" directory and again
run the command:
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

After that, you're done.
