@Larry OK - I posted a comment on that bug and referenced the similar POWERPC bug that was mentioned there as well as the current issue with acrobat It seems like they marked it resolved because the underlying open -a command worked, but as noted by others in October of last year, this does not always work, and I could get an envelope to come up in some cases from the command line, but never with an attachment....
