Some of us enjoy the native mysql support available from OpenOFFICE. I believe we obtained the extension directly from the OPEN OFFICE site. I have not been successful locating it at the LibreOffice site.
It was a delight to not have to use the odbc and/or java drivers just to access mysql data via OOBase.
I look forward to when my favorite first class distribution offers the mysql-extension in it's repositories.
Other distros have this extension available for LibreOfficeBase now. This missing package will have an adverse effect on several projects. I downloaded the extension for openoffice located at the link below. It installs and works, but it is BRANDED ORACLE. http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/download/4670 how long it will work is anyone's guess? -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***
