There was a post in here recently about the latest java update, version 1.6.0_24, causing problems with Base. I'm getting a lot of encouragement from both my Macs to upgrade to this version, which I'm resisting hard, but I just wanted to know whether anyone knows whether the problem is fixed, either in Base or in Java.
