Nope. All I have to do is make a new empty spreadsheet, with the top left empty cell selected as per default. Then select Format menu Cells... item Crash. 100% reproducible.
I should add that I do not have any haxies. A pretty Vanilla 10.6.6. Right now Im working my way through what it takes to get a debug version.
