When you installed in parallel (or otherwise) may not have installed the English-US version, so probably wouldn't have seen the: Setting up libreoffice3-dict-en (3.4.0-103) ... /opt/libreoffice/program/../basis-link/ure-link/bin/javaldx: symbol lookup error: /opt/libreoffice/ure/bin/../lib/libuno_cppuhelpergcc3.so.3: undefined symbol: _ZTIN9salhelper21SimpleReferenceObjectE, version UDK_3_0_0 [...] errors. If you have time can you please try this package: LibO_3.4.0beta3_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz
I did install that one :-) Hmm, should I have seen those while unpacking or when running dpg-deb?
