Hi :)
I am fairly certain i have seen the "Data Source" thing in LibreOffice 3.3.2 in
Ubuntu 10.10 and 10.04LTS. Presumably you are using the Unity interface
default
for 11.04 rather than the Gnome of previous releases but i don't think that
would be the issue = I don't think the integration packages "libreoffice-gtk"
and "libreoffice-gnome" add that sort of thing.

The short-cut key to Data-sources is F4, does that do anything?
Regards from
Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-users] Libre Writer: 'view - data source' (F4) not
available

Hi
I run LibreOffice 3.3.2 on Ubuntu 11.04.
Previously, with OOo Iwas able to insert merged fields from a spreadsheet
into a writer document by viewing the data sources and selecting and
dragging the relevant fields into the writer document.
In all the support documentation that I have consulted this method should
still be an option, but in my View drop-down there is no 'Data source'
option and the F4 shortcut does not launch the data source explorer either.
I have reinstalled LibreOffice but the problem still remains.
I must be missing something.
Help will be appreciated.
