Could you tell us what LibreOffice you are using?
3.3.# or 3.4.#
Currently 3.3.4 is out for that line, while 3.4.2 is out for its, along
with the previous versions.
What MAC OS are you using?
It is always nice to know that a specific version is working well on a
specific OS for one of LO's users.
For my part I have only use Windows and Ubuntu/Linux version of it.
I also use Inkscape now, but I came from Corel Draw vector graphics when
I ran Windows as my default OS, but Ubuntu is my on my desktop as my
default OS, with Windows on only one laptop.
I did not know about the issues between "Inkscape SVG" and "Standard
SVG" and other packages, thanks.
I wonder if "Xara Xtreme" supports that .DRW format?

since Sketch is a paid for program. I am using a trial version. On this basis I won't be paying
for it when the trial runs out.
Other than that LibreOffice is much better than Open Office. With Open Office
on the mac I had to have NeoOffice as well. The fonts in Open Office weren't
very good, at low zooms you got screen corruption. NeoOffice corrected this
problem, however NeoOffice doesn't use VoiceOver the mac screenreader. I don't
use VoiceOver as a rule, but I wan't a program that can use it if necessary.
NeoOffice management have said that they don't support VoiceOver, that I think
is reprehensible. LibreOffice on the other hand does support VoiceOver and
solves the font corruption problem. So I have got rid of NeoOffice. Also sine
NeoOffice is a paid for program (where you have to pay before you try) I have
gone to the far better free LibreOffice.
I really would like to get a proper SVG file generated for these 2 .DRW files, that I can
archive, and have confidence that I will find a program that will be able to read this
"standard" format in the future. Note that both the Inkscape and LibreOffice
SVG files display in a web browser. I have already got PDF and EPS files from these 2
.DRW files, I just wanted to have more options for the future.
