I am having a similar problem on 3.4.3 on Mac (Snow Leopard) any time I attempt to save a document (new or old). If I had to guess, it might be caused by a shortcut to a networked folder in my Mac sidebar. Deleting ~/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice and reinstalling the program unfortunately didn't solve things for me. Are there any other hidden preferences that I might delete?
