Zack's answer user the address of the UserProfile in Mac but it's in a slightly 
different place in other OSes.  The UserProfile page shows the default 
locations for different OSes.  Errr, oh this is a Mac question lol!

I had  the exact same problem on my mac. This fix is a hack and slash
approach, but it fixed the problem for me:

Open Terminal and type

cd /Users/[username]/Library/Saved Application
State/org.libreoffice.script.savedState
echo "" >> restorecount.txt
