In the meantime I also tried 3.5, but the same problems occur there. It might have something to do with hardware acceleration / antialiasing. At least I found several posts in different forums whith users who have the same problems. In one forum someone stated that disabling Antialiasing and Hardware Acceleration helped. I will try this. I also found several bugreports which document similar problems.
