If I remember correctly, we are working on finding the best forum
package for our needs.
The OOo link was, most likely, placed there when LO was just starting
out almost a year ago. Now we have so many people helping out with the
email lists, we should drop that link and add out forum, if it is
running now.
Nabble, so I have been told, may work enough like a regular forum, for
now. It seems people are using that sometimes to ask questions and read
the answers. We do need a browser-based help center/forum/list for
those who do not want to deal with an email list service. Those with
limited bandwidth, or limited email inbox size would not want to receive
all these emails when they want to deal with posts only for their
question/answer.
