The question then becomes: how do we handle "people who do not follow the suggested posting rules", and thus "destroy the value of the archive of this mailing list". There are only two options available: 1) individuals can kill-file offenders, thus leaving them to correspond only with fellow top posters; or 2) expel them from this list.
