Hi :) That looks a lot like Gnu&Linux rather than Bsd? Which distro? Ubuntu? Which version? Have you upgraded the distro to a different version number since last watching the videos?
Have you used a package manager to update everything? You might need to install some codecs or something? In ubuntu it might be worth running through the medibuntu guide https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu I tend to keep the non-free components but there is a section in there that can help you remove them if you want to be an OpenSource purist. You could try keeping them for now and then remove them another day of course. Until LO 3.4 they work perfect. But in LO 3.5 the same presentation hangs LO and make it very very slowwww. Running from console I get this: (libreoffice:11787): GStreamer-WARNING **: Failed to load plugin '/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstffmpeg.so': /opt/libreoffice3.5/program/../ure-link/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.11' not found (required by /usr/lib/libdirac_encoder.so.0) I've tried inserting videos in a new presentation and the same happens. Thanks in advance.
