Hi :) 1. Renaming the User Profile is the fastest thing to try and often solves weird problems. This guide shows the default locations of the User Profile in different Operating Systems https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile
3. Crashing often seems to be caused by java. For LibreOffice 3.5.x java 1.7.0_3 is best even though none of the 7s have been officially released yet. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre-7u3-download-1501631.html Ideally it would be great to switch java off completely or completely uninstall it but some things still need it. 2. If it's just something in the document then getting rid of the lock might be good. When you open LibreOffice and it asks if you want to recover the document then click on Cancel instead Regards from Tom :) --- On Mon, 16/4/12, Cliff Scott <ae...@qsl.net> wrote: From: Cliff Scott <ae...@qsl.net> Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] Re: LibreOffice 3.5 Crashed To: users@global.libreoffice.org Date: Monday, 16 April, 2012, 4:15 ** Reply to message from Taang Zomi <libreofficez...@gmail.com> on Sun, 15 Apr 2012 20:43:47 -0400 You may need to reinstall, but first you could try renaming your profile. I'm sorry, but I don't know where in Win7 it is kept, but it's around somewhere. LO will generate a new one on startup. If that works then you can begin moving sections of the old profile into the new one until you find which one was corrupt/damaged.
