If you don't want to use "Ibid." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibid.)
Try cross-reference.

1. Insert -> Cross-reference...
2. Choose type as 'Footnotes'
3. In Selection, choose target footnote
4. In 'Insert reference to', choose 'Reference'
   This will give a footnote number you are referencing to, thus,
   showing same footnote number twice or more.
5. Cross-reference number is not superscripted, so you need to format
   it manually or create character style for it.
