When you uninstall the version you currently have installed then it will stop 
trying to update that 'wrong' one.  "If you do NOT hold the party they will NOT

Hi Andreas,
Thanks for making it clear that it is something to do with the modification
done by the distro since it works just fine with the vanilla download. I
remember you and others at the OO.o forum pointing out that distro
modifications often cause issues.

I will look into getting 3.5.*3* direct tomorrow. But I also need to know
how to stop from being pushed the distro's version. Bandwidth caps!!!
