Tom, et al,
I might also add that I have read a few of the manuals, such as Writer, Calc, Base and Draw and, although it is very good compared to, say, the OO 2.4 era, it sometimes states to use Help for more information or details. So, Help is needed to be complete. I have used Help occasionally and you are right in that sometimes it is incomplete or downright incorrect, but it is better than trial and error.

Hi :)
Lol, that is not complete disagreement! I agree it's handy to have both but if you are missing the built-in help then "view it as a feature not a bug". Afaik the Help was last updated for the 3.3.0 and there have been quite a few changes since then. Regards from Tom :)Â

The help is growing a bit ragged around the edges as it is getting
out-dated quite fast.

I disagree completely. Do get the offline help. It is a quite efficient and
handy quick reference for LibreOffice even if it is(?) outdated.

I agree with Tom the Publications are VERY good, but it's not exactly the
same as pressing F1
