I have done this: #!/bin/bash aptitude -y purge libreoffice4.0 > /dev/null aptitude -y purge libobasis4.0-core01 > /dev/null aptitude -y purge libobasis4.0-core01 > /dev/null aptitude -y purge libreoffice-debian-menus > /dev/null aptitude -y purge libreoffice4.0-stdlibs > /dev/null aptitude -y purge libreoffice4.0-ure > /dev/null rm -r ./.config/libreoffice/4/ > /dev/null dpkg -i ./LibreOffice_4.0.0.2_Linux_x86_deb/\ DEBS/*.deb > /dev/null dpkg -i ./LibreOffice_4.0.0.2_Linux_x86_deb/\ DEBS/desktop-integration/*.deb > /dev/null soffice -env:UserInstallation=file:///tmp/lo-userprof/ I still get the same results in the bug report, but some of the other people do not get the same results on their machines.
