Greetings,
Using Linux LO 3.6.7.2.

I have several listboxes in my Base forms. I would like to set a default selection in those listboxes. The listboxes reference small tables with 2 columns. Column 1 is the key, and column 2 contains the text value for that key. I am trying to figure out how the Default selection under the listbox properties General tab works.

Entering the number (the Key number from column 1) does not work. Entering "2" for row 2, actually selects the text in row 8!

If I try entering the text from column 2 of the listbox table seems to work for single characters, but not strings. For instance, most of my listbox tables use "-" (dash) in row 1 column 2, Entering -, which becomes "-" in the default option, oddly does work. The defaults for a new record show - in the listbox. However, if I enter "Active", which is in row 2, column 2 with column 1 containing the key number 2, does not work. It does nothing. In fact, "Active" does not stick in the default option, but turns blank as if I didn't enter anything.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance.
Girvin Herr
