Hi Dan, Thanks, yes I know William was mistaken. My post was slightly tongue-in-cheek (& long enough ago now that actually I'd forgotten about it ;) ).
My guess is that the dBase connection only supports one file because it's a file connection not a process connection, there's no database engine running for the connector to ask to do the complicated work.
