Hey Tom, It is possible to place your data in MySQL, MariaDB, or other database backends. Base can link to tables in MySQL. I've done it, but not very well, a couple of times. Seems I've got a lot to learn. You can also link to tables maintained by a stand alone version of the same built in database that Base uses. I've done that too, but not very well. It's called HSQLDB. You can set up an instance on a server and connect to it over your network, or you can set up an instance on the same computer and connect to it directly. -- _ °v° /(_)\ ^ ^ Mark LaPierre Registered Linux user No #267004 https://linuxcounter.net/ **** -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
