I guess you've never studied Calculus, where the answer often
approaches, but never actually reaches some value. You can get closer
and closer, but never actually get that value. ;-)

A bit off topic One of the things I did like about calculus is that it
models so much of what changes about us. A real eye opener, when I first
started applying it to real life situations it was a bit like seeing all
that code in the matrix (some years before the matrix, cell phones and PCs).
