To avoid duplicates in the list it`s needed to mark 'Sort entries ascending' Be aware of Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice calc/General - Expand formatting, if it is activated, when selecting in A1, then A1 DataValidaty overwrite DataValidity in cell to the right, perhaps a bug.
