I figured it out. The problem was caused by the filter being enabled. I filtered out some data before attempting to copy them. When the filter is turned off everything seems to work OK: I can copy and paste columns format (i.e. its width).

Seems to work with LO 5.1.0.3 on Windows 7 .... I can select a column then
Ctrl+C; go to another sheet within the "workbook"; select a column then
paste special formats .... and the column is re-sized to the same width as
the source. Maybe someone has your exact versions and can check.

I should mention that I use LO 5.1.1.3 on Win XP machine.

Hello Everyone.
Just recently I upgraded LO ver. 4 to 5 and have a problem with Calc
from that moment on. I can’t paste a columns width from one sheet to
another. Paste Special > Formats does not give a desired outcome now.
Any help will be appreciated.

gordom
