I was confused when I first read your message. Rereading it now, I may
be more or less confused. If you mean that you are not seeing the
'Manage Changes' dialogue window, have you tried doing Edit > Track
Changes > Manage?

Do I take it that no one here has any idea how to resume an
interrupted/paused comparison between documents?
Any ideas where else I can look for this?
TIA

Running Xubuntu 24.04 with LO 25.2.4. I have two documents I want to
compare and merge with some but not all of the edits in btween
Doc A is the edited version with the editor's comments and changes tracked in.
Doc B is the original I want to compare for updates.
I have begun this process in the sub-window for each change to
resolve, and all was working well. However, I had to save the modified
result before I could continue.
I saved the partially compared document, Doc C, with a new filename.
However, when I open the new file, there's no change resolution
sub-window as before while I was actively comparing B to A.
How do I get that change resolving sub-window back so I can continue
to resolve the edits one after another? Or do I have to go into the
Edit -> Track Changes for every single change? Or is there another
way?
I have checked the manual and the web, and I have found no answers
