Hi Joseph,

Think of it as the Grid Engine scheduler dispatches jobs to a the
"super-ordinate" queue, and the subordination process kicks in, which
suspends the jobs in the subordinate queue.

May be Reuti or others have a better explaination of it, but this in
in general how it works.
